I'm loOking for a Big crucifix (CROSS) on a Hill or Cliff in TEXAS???

There is a place in Texas where I visited with my father when he was still alive with us. I don't really remember what city it was, but I know that it was near south Texas, and it was where the hills begin to form. I think it was in Starr County, maybe?? I Don't know??? But it is important for me to find this place. I think it was on Hillside Rd. or Cliffside Rd. Something like that, ad there was an abandon house at the bottom. On the way up the hill there is a little cave filled with candles people left in there.
Any clues would surely help me out! -Thanks
There was a Cross (crucifix) at the Top of this hill that you walk up on. It kinda over looks the city to a certain extent.
...and it was close to South Texas if not in South Texas...

There is a large cross at Groom, Texas; just east of Amarillo in the panhandle.
But it isn't on a hill, or in south Texas. Maybe there is another one (or more).

It seems like I have seen a fairly large cross on a hill somewhere, but I don't remember where.
