Do you know anyone who manufactures something made in America .?
Who knows people who still make something here . Like a chair or a table or some pants or shoes or anything .
Shouldn't we know people who actually make something . I know lots of retail workers and plenty of professionals payed by the government to work as defense contractors , teachers , postal workers and others but I know not one person who makes something .
We used to be a community of blacksmiths , candle makers , butchers , furniture makers , rug weavers , mill workers and now ,I am afraid those people have all gone .
Do you know any real working Americans who make something . Something solid . Not an insurance policy or manage an investment fund but actual create something of real use and value .
If you find someone who makes things in the US please let me know, I'm really tired of buying all these cheaply made products that fall apart. You know, the ones that flood the shelves of our retail stores, like China & Taiwan. I would really love to see something of quality so that I won't have to purchase the same darn thing over and over and over again when it breaks. My moms home was full of such great products. I still have many of her things today and some of them are at least 50 years old.
